I thought it was high time I knocked that last journal off my page and give anybody watching my page an explanation for my extended absence.
My life took several unexpected turns last year around November and my priorities changed. I'm now studying full time, and will be for the foreseeable future. I'm involved in a happy relationship, which takes up most of the time that studying doesn't. My social life has become much more active too. With all of that, finding time for drawing is very difficult. I have a few unfinished pieces of work that might get uploaded later but I'm not making any promises. Any updates that happen will be sporadic at best and non existent at worst. I'm afraid this will remain the case for quite a while.
I'm planning on studying at university, doing media studies and something in the social sciences. After that I'll be working on my career, but hopefully I'll occasionally have time to drop by. Drawing was one of my first loves and it will always be a part of me. I scribble in the margins of my textbooks beside my notes, on my hand, wherever I find space and a small window of time. I just can't dedicate enough time to it to upload regular art here.
I'll still be around though in a reduced capacity, so if you note me I'll reply. I hope to remain in regular contact with my friends here, and as always I enjoy looking at your new art pieces and lurking your journals! (Is that creepy? Maybe a little)
You are a creative lot who have inspired me to better not just my art but myself. You're awesome, don't forget it.
